Glitz and Glam for the New Year, baby!

Can you believe it is New Year’s Eve tomorrow? Seriously though, where did all the time go? This whole year has flown – a complete blur – and have we been really able to just slow down, to breathe in deeply and to soak up everything around us? I fear that life is passing us by so fast that we are not really living it.

What are your plans to celebrate the New Year?

I’ve got some outfit ideas for whatever you’re up to on the big night; SPARKLES, SEQUINS AND GLITTER! I personally feel that you should go out with a bang for a night filled with fresh starts and plenty of fun – perfect for ringing in 2014. Time to dress up to get down girls!

If you’re thinking of throwing on a statement dress but are afraid that it’ll be too much, fret not because you can still rock that sequin slip dress with a pair of strappy high heels. Don’t forget to grab a barely there envelope clutch to make the most of the minimalist vibe.

You too can always opt for your go-to outfit; I’m talking high-waisted disco pants and crop tops – in which I can never seem to get enough of. When in outfit-doubt, be sure to add something sparkly! Mix this Topshop sequin crop tee with a pair of casual pants and luxe heels. All that glam wouldn’t hurt.

I believe that every girl deserves to sparkle and not just Edward Cullen. You’ll be killin’ it in this sequin bodycon skirt. Team it with a lace crop or a simple blouse, some killer heels and ankle socks – and you’re good to go.

And if you’re not into spending a ton on a new dress, you can always jazz up your basic little black dress with a pair of get-noticed tights and still look ultra-chic. Make your LBD feels new again with a hint of shimmer to glimmer the night away. My ensemble of this look; a simple black cami swing dress paired with a glitter all-over tights.

Don’t be afraid to say ‘yes’ to all things statement girls, whether it’s an armful of bracelets, metallic clutch or a pair of glittery heels. I hope you guys like it!
