Back to School

The first day of a new semester usually consists of going to class, reviewing the course outline and then class ending, right? Well, mine didn’t exactly end right away. After reviewing the syllabus of the first and only class of the day, we jumped right into our first lecture which went on for about 4 hours.

Within the first hour of the class in which I assumed would be nothing but introduction – and perhaps a little time to spare for an ice-breaking session – caught me off guard because a) introduction would be an understatement and b) “ice-breaking”  session was more like whatever-dude-let’s-just-get-down-to-business and c) a surprise pop quiz to refresh our almost-rotten memories.

However, I thanked God because Festo FluidSim fascinated me and I actually enjoyed the class and I’m starting to dig this subject. Also, it felt nice to be reunited with them familiar faces and I must say that Shell FuelSave Celebrity Driving Challenge event was pretty good although it was amusing seeing those boys swoon over the actress and model, Lisa Surihani.

Alhamdulillah for a wonderful day, may Allah ease my journey and I pray for more great days ahead, ameen.

P.S. We are well into January already, let us all take a moment to let that sink in.
