Summer Vibes

Today, I attended my very first daily scrum where all team members are encouraged to attend to provide updates and to discuss about obstacles impeding their progress (if any) and I was asked to briefly introduce myself. It was pretty much awkward, but I obligated. I find stand-up meetings excellent because they are short and to-the-point which is great because I’d be fidgeting if I had to sit for board meetings.

Anyhow, all work and no play makes me a dull girl and I desperately crave for another beach holiday but it’s Ramadan and in-plant training only ends in October so hold that thought, Fayra.

Everyone who knows me would know my idea of an ideal vacation; being away from the ulcer-inducing existence of sardine-can city life. Since I miss listening to the soothing sound of the waves crashing on the beach so much, I figured I’d share some of the photos from my recent trip to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah back in May.

If you’re planning on going for a relaxed vacation, I suggest you pack up your bikinis and swimsuits and head over to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau – the northernmost tip of Borneo located in the district of Kudat, Sabah. Imagine finding yourself lounging under the sun on the pristine white sand, surrounded by lush tropical plants with a postcard-perfect view of the gorgeous blue water. Mhmm… Malaysia’s tropical coastline is lined with fabulous beaches and we are truly blessed!

P.S. Most photos are courtesy of my talented little sister, Fazreen Aida. You may stalk her here. Love you long time!
Favourite photo ever!

So peaceful, so perfect. Subhanallah.
