Of Running Shoes and Morning Sunshine

So daddy woke me up in the morning and decided how it is essential that I remain productive and asked for me to get dressed because we were going jogging. I was reluctant at first until he convinced me we'd have breakfast after – which brought me to immediate life and I was ready in no time.

My parents and sister were all pumped up in their running gear. They did their proper stretching and whatnot before they kicked off with their routine. I – on the other hand, watched them with no interest in lacing up my own kicks to begin with. It was too early for my adrenaline to get going and I didn’t even bother to stifle my yawns.

My sister couldn’t stop rolling her eyes at me.

Well fine, I thought. She went ahead with her regular warm up and started running after my parents. I ended up yawning throughout my whole walk. I got bored so I started playing with a stray cat along the way and went on the swing and continued reading albeit briefly. A few foreigners walked into my direction and it was a little creepy so I took the action to join my pact. Had a big-walk race with my dad and he obviously won.

I did sweat because it was sunny so mission accomplished, I suppose.

We then headed out to Great Eastern Mall for breakfast. It was still early when we arrived because most shops were closed so we lingered for a bit. I had the heartiest meal because all the “exercising and sweating” made me hungry.

My sister rolled her eyes some more.

After breakfast, I took daddy to Pets Wonderland to show him those cute Persian cats in hopes he’d actually get me one but he was interested in buying an iguana for my little sister and a Siberian husky instead. *facepalm*

Oh well.

P.S. Do you fancy my neon pink shoes? ;-)
